Hey, y'all!

I'm Melissa, as you may have guessed, but most of my friends just call me Mel. You're welcome to do the same! Or you can stick with Melissa...either is fine with me!


Photography is my side gig and I prefer it that way. I actually really enjoy my full time job at a doctor's office, and I love having photography as a creative outlet for me to enjoy on the side. I have always loved taking pictures, but in 2010 my parents gave me a nice camera for Christmas and that began a ride that I never planned for or expected! In 2014, I opened Melissa V. Photography, LLC, and the rest is history! I specialize in family portraits, senior portraits, and headshots.


Aside from photography, I enjoy singing on the worship team at my church, spending quality time with family and friends, seeing plays and musicals, and just hanging at home with my handsome husband and puppy dog, Matilda Lu.
